GOOD NEWS! 💫 This week IPBES has published two new reports to change our relation with #nature, preserve it and survive 🦎🌿🦩 What are they about? 👇 🌍 NEXUS report includes 70 proposals for preserving nature and producing economic, social and health benefits at the same time. According to this report, environmental, social and economic crises are deeply connected. Addressing them in isolation is ineffective and leads to counterproductive consequences. Therefore, preserving nature is key. 💰 TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE explains how to transform the economic system with nature in mind. Among other highlights it states that the adoption of sustainable economic strategies could generate up to $10 trillion in business opportunities and 395 million jobs by 2030. ✍️ These reports have been launched during the 11th plenary session, #IPBES11. 🔝 Representing CREAF attended our Head of Political Interaction and Institutional Relations Alicia Pérez-Porro, PhD, our researcher Dani Villero Pi and our researcher Lluís Brotons, as an IPBES expert and also Scientific Coordinator of the Observatory of #Biodiversity and Natural Heritage. ✅ Do you want to know more? Hello, CREAF, although it would be an honour to be the Head of Political Interaction and Institutional Relations, I think you've made a typo in your post and added my name instead of Alicia Pérez-Porro, PhD.
