Did you know that in passive safety testing we are able to squeeze a vehicle with a force of up on 200 kN ❓ This is a test according to the US FMVSS 214 S, which simulates a side impact of a vehicle on a tree/pole. 🌳 🚗 The machine´s force range of 200 kN outperforms most competitors. The same machine can also be used to simulate a roof load of up to 125 kN in a vehicle rollover according to FMVSS 216. The trio of US regulations is rounded off by FMVSS 581 for bumper testing.
