🏓 Is Pickleball the New Golf for Corporate Networking? 🏌️♂️ YES-Pickleball is rapidly becoming the go-to sport for business dealmaking and corporate networking 🌟 Such a great new (economical) and fun way to #promote your #brand 1. Cost-Effectiveness: Pickleball is generally cheaper than golf, making it a more attractive option for companies looking to reduce expenses. 2. Time Efficiency: Pickleball games are shorter and less time-consuming than golf rounds, allowing for quicker business interactions. 3. Accessibility: Pickleball is easier to play and requires less skill than golf, making it more inclusive for a diverse range of employees and clients. 4. Rising Popularity: Corporate bookings at pickleball clubs have surged, with a significant spike reported in June 2024. 5. Networking Opportunities: Pickleball is emerging as a new platform for corporate schmoozing, challenging golf's traditional dominance in this area. This shift is notable enough that it's being reported by major business publications and industry sources. While golf still maintains a strong presence in corporate culture, pickleball is rapidly gaining ground as a preferred activity for getting deals done and fostering business relationships. At REV Branding, we’re always on the lookout for innovative ways to help our clients stand out. Whether it’s through imaginative marketing solutions or customized promotional gifts, we ensure your brand makes a lasting impression. Call to Action: What do you think about this shift? 🏌️♂️ How Sponsoring in Golf Can Grow Your Business 🏌️♀️ Have you considered how sponsoring a golf event or golfer could benefit your business? It might be worth exploring. Here’s why: Reaching the Right Audience: Golf tournaments attract a high-net-worth crowd, including key decision-makers. Wouldn’t it be valuable to get your brand in front of these individuals? Building Connections: Golf provides a relaxed environment for networking. How often do you get the opportunity to spend a few hours on the green with potential clients or partners? Enhancing Your Brand: Golf is associated with luxury and success. How might your brand benefit from this association? Engaging Audiences: Modern sponsorship goes beyond banners and logos. Could you leverage social media and interactive experiences to extend your reach beyond the event? Supporting Local Talent: Sponsoring local professional golfers can enhance your corporate social responsibility efforts. Isn’t it satisfying to support emerging talent in your community while promoting your brand? Client Entertainment: Golf sponsorships often come with perks like VIP tickets and hospitality packages. How could these be used to entertain clients or reward employees? I am looking to connect with businesses ready to elevate their brand and company through the unique opportunities that golf sponsorship and our talent can provide. Please call me or reach out to discuss further. I don’t golf. I don’t play tennis. I rarely attend networking events & when I do I’m the wallflower in the corner. I have never gotten business doing social things. How do I get business? I go straight for it. I make a call - again and again. I show up at their door. I’m polite…but insanely persistent. I have never gotten business by accident playing a game or drinking a cocktail. When I chat with people in those situations, I generally want to learn about them and not see them as a “prospect.” To me, somehow, that feels like I’m crossing a line. I’ve seen lots of people do this. And they are good at it. I’m just not & have chosen to get my business differently. I like to look people square in the face & tell them exactly why I’m there- and it doesn’t start with talking about other things. I find it’s important to get to the point when I’m working- and when I’m not- I’m focused on the person- not the business that’s in front of me. That’s just me. And it works- for me. If you feel like a wallflower in networking event or you don’t like to play sports to get business either- I just want you to know… you aren’t alone! #HRGal #sales #networking #golf #tennis

Mastering the Art of Networking at Business Golf Tournaments Golf and business have always gone hand-in-hand, making golf tournaments one of the best opportunities to network, build relationships, and grow your professional circle. Here are a few tips to make the most of your time on the course: 1. Play the Long Game: Remember, networking on the course is about building relationships, not closing deals. Focus on getting to know your playing partners—what they do, what they’re passionate about, and where there might be mutual benefits in the future. 2. Be a Good Sport: Golf is as much about character as it is about skill. Be supportive, keep a positive attitude, and show sportsmanship throughout. Your behavior on the course speaks volumes about your business ethics. 3. Listen More, Talk Less: Use the time between shots to ask insightful questions and genuinely listen to the answers. People appreciate those who take an interest in them. 4. Seize the 19th Hole: The post-round gathering is as important as the game itself. This is the perfect time to exchange business cards, discuss potential collaborations, and solidify the connections made during the round. 5. Follow-up: Don’t let the connections fade after the tournament. Send a personalized follow-up message referencing something memorable from the day. This keeps the conversation going and opens the door for future opportunities. Remember, a business golf tournament is more than just a round of golf—it's a chance to expand your network and create lasting professional relationships. #Networking #BusinessGolf #ProfessionalDevelopment #GolfTournaments #RelationshipBuilding #ricmooregolf

Stepping onto the Green!!I'd often heard that golf courses are where deals are made and connections are forged. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to experience it firsthand. As I teed off alongside industry leaders, I realized that golf is indeed a game-changer for networking. The relaxed atmosphere and shared passion for golf broke down barriers, allowing me to engage with top players in my industry. Conversations flowed effortlessly, from discussing business strategies to sharing personal stories. Key takeaways from my golf networking debut: 1. Common interests create instant rapport. 2. Authenticity shines through in a casual setting. 3. Valuable connections can arise from shared experiences. I'm grateful for the chance to connect with influential figures and look forward to nurturing these relationships. To anyone looking to expand their professional network, I say: grab your golf clubs and hit the green! You never know who you'll meet and what opportunities will arise. #GolfNetworking #IndustryConnections #RelationshipBuilding #BusinessOpportunities #NetworkingTips"

Connection is my passion. 💝 To inspire connection is my purpose. 🧠 Helping others connect intentionally is my goal. 🎖 I am very proud to share this small sampling of the different businesses that will be present in some way on Monday, October 7th, 2024 at the Crusaders Caerusnet Annual Golf & Non-Golf Event. And we still have almost three months to go! I am excited to be a part of this business matchmaking event, with more than one attendance option. Including a traditional golf outing. But what if you don't golf? We got you! There is a non-golf professional development afternoon with multiple speakers being planned as well. But what if you have to work that day? We got you! There is a happy hour and dinner only option for later in the day. My favorite part of the behind the scenes planning? Getting to encourage connection by offering all attendees three suggestions of others there, that day, they should have a conversation with. Strategic introductions to grow network and business. 😍 Helping people meet others who will be the start of their next success story is, frankly put, my drug of choice. And I can not wait to hear the stories of what good things started on this day! #golfouting #networking #network #professionaldevelopment#connection #intentionalconnection #businessbuilding #matchmaker #golf #inspireconnection

Even though I organize a business golf event annually, I haven't swung a golf club in 15 years easily. Yet one of my referral team clients invited me to be on his foursome at the Fenton & Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce and I said YES to the opportunity! And boy am I glad I did! I had a great time! Spent the day deepening my professional relationships with these three men, Jason Moore, Jerry Ellithorpe and Nathan Murray (for some reason I can't tag two of them) lots of laughs, encouragement, learning more about each other both professionally and personally. This foursome made up of 'I'm not very good', I just started golfing' and I don't golf' people came in just three over par. This experience just reinforced what I share with other professionals when they say they don't golf....what does golf have to do with a golf outing or event? It's a team event, everyone playing together, working together for a team score. And again, it's fun!! So you don't golf, so what! Go! Have fun! Connect and grow your business. Just say yes to the opportunity! No one cares that you can't/don't golf but you. Don't skip the chances for something unimportant. Connect Intentionally. #golfouting #network #networking #connection #connectintentionally #golfevent

Here are some crucial statistics about retention at golf events that every tournament director/event organizer should know... Retention at golf events is deeply influenced by the overall experience and the connections made during the event. • 60% of golfers who have a positive, memorable experience will return to the same event the following year. • Building strong relationships with both sponsors and participants can significantly increase return rates. Personal engagement makes golfers more likely to invest in your cause or event. • 40-50% of golfers are open to trying new events, particularly those offering unique elements that set them apart. • Adding premium, personalized services can further boost retention by an additional 10% on average. Managing all these aspects—memorable experiences, sponsor engagement, unique offerings, and personalized services—can be a lot to handle. That’s where Trility Golf Group steps in. We streamline all of these elements through our VIP Player Services, Enhanced Logistics, and Sponsorship Alternatives, ensuring your event stands out from the crowd and keeps golfers coming back year after year. If you're an event organizer or tournament director looking to build on retention for your golf event, lets chat - shoot me a message or email me at: troytimpano@trilitygolfgroup.com.
