What is a ‘Stroke’? In the medical profession a Stroke is referred to as a Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA), which as it implies it is a problem with the circulation in the brain. Common Lethal Head injury resulting in Brain Hemorrhage & Life threatening Brain swelling hit the Emergency Room in Comatose State(GCS-5/15). Patient underwent Emergency Neurosurgical Intervention(CRANIOTOMY). Post-op day 15 ; post -op CT shows no Bleed / brain swelling.Clinically : GCS 15/15 ; No Neurodeficit. Patient Discharged with Stable Vitals.

For people with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries and post intensive care paralysis, there is the progression of rigidity due to the inability to move arms away from the side of the body to lift objects and the inability to open clawing hands to manipulate objects even when one has very slight to slight residual movements.
