Why is value based leadership important? Value-based leadership is about creating relationships- Having a genuine interest in the people around you. Asking them “How are you?” With the intention of listening to hear how they truly are. Not just as a salutation. This is made easier when you know who you are and you know where you begin and where you end. ✨Being self-aware allows you to create space for others within your life. When asked, most teams desire: Acceptance and belonging It is what draws people to desire the presence of a leader. 🌿 It is knowing that they are safe, 🌿 knowing that you care, 🌿 knowing that they are wanted. A leader serves, a leader eats last, a leader speaks last. Be authentic, be unapologetically you. Your tribe will be drawn to that. #leadership #personaldevelopment #careers #africa
