Google is testing a new carousel feature that includes a map and images from the Business profile. Initially, the ad displays a map and an image side by side. However, upon hovering, it transforms into a carousel that showcases a map first, followed by images sourced from the Business profile. When you click on the map, it will take you to Google Maps. Clicking on the image will open a sticky business profile on the right panel, which remains visible as you scroll through the search results. To see this feature in action, watch the videos shared by Anthony Higman in his X thread. #googlebusiness #google #seo #sge

Around 38% of Google's search result pages display images, allowing users to see not only text but also visual messages so optimising your images is very important.🫡 First start of by using appropriate keywords in the file name of your image. Instead of ‘DCM123.jpg', rename the image ‘keyword1-keyword2.jpg' etc. The next step is to ensure you fill out the ‘Title' and ‘Alt Text' if you are uploading it to your website. Ask your developer and check this is done for all your images. This is especially important if you have an online shop.🛍️ Doing the above is the first steps in getting a nudge in the right direction for your Google rankings.💯 For help, contact us today: ✉ info@freshdigitalmedia.co.uk 📞 01752 295 875 📅 https://lnkd.in/eyPBHYW6 #freshdigitalmedia #imageoptimisation #seo
