Too often, companies focus solely on what to do after the data is in the platform, overlooking the outdated and overly complex processes involved in wrangling logs, events, and metrics. Even industry leaders like Splunk, who pioneered ‘Getting Data In’ (GDI), have let tools like the universal forwarder stagnate. This announcement is a big win for any company running CrowdStrike—simplified data collection and amplified visibility are a powerful combination.

I appreciate Crowdstrike continuing to improve its product(s) for existing customers . So many others will bolt-on things like this and sell them as “additional” features.

Very cool! Splunk should have acquired Cribl years ago. This technology has saved customer millions while optimizing there data pipelines.
