Suddenly, years of investing in the #Scala codebase of #Ergo core libraries have appreciated in value almost effortlessly. This is the benefit of using a truly cross-platform language. First, we cross-compiled the core libraries to #JavaScript, resulting in https://lnkd.in/gZR-bEKv, which is 100% compatible with the JVM version. Second, we can now cross-compile it for #WASM, enabling new use cases and execution environments. Third, future support for the Wasm Component Model (https://lnkd.in/gvQMawm3) will enable native interoperability with other languages supporting WASI (https://lnkd.in/d2fh_Vku) https://lnkd.in/d8Tm4S7j Feeling inspired and want to build on Ergo? 💡 🛠 Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/ex6P-jy Join the Discord: https://lnkd.in/gBKKRfDh #smartcontract #blockchain #developer #webassembly #typescript #softwareengineer #Bitcoin #ProofOfWork #cryptonews #cryptoeducation #cryptocurrency #dApps #DeFi #opensource #web3 #p2p #fintech #digitalassets

Today has been a busy and exciting day for the o1Labs team and everyone in the Mina Protocol ecosystem - the Berkeley Upgrade commenced as scheduled at 9AM UTC. And we're proud to share that the 3.0.0 Berkeley Release has now been published to the Mina community! This release represents the final stage in the upgrade process, and establishes Mina as the first blockchain with native ZK programmability! 🎉 Notably this Berkeley Upgrade moves smart contract execution off-chain, and leaves verification on-chain, addressing many of the most common blockchain infrastructure challenges, such as data constraints, scalability issues, and high gas costs. This is just one step in our zk journey, but a big one. And we hope you join us in continuing this vision. Full release notes here: https://lnkd.in/gAtZcd7g

Ever had one of those moments when a question catches you off guard and makes you realize there's a whole area you need to explore? That happened to me recently during a school test on building a supply chain system on the blockchain. It was a wake-up call—I knew I had to dive into blockchain technology. So, I started learning Solidity and decided to build a Fake Product Detection system using Solidity, Truffle Suite, and React, here is a link to the GitHub repository — https://lnkd.in/ergJnMmp (it’s still a work in progress). Along the way, I got a better understanding of the require, revert, and assert functions in Solidity and how crucial it is to write secure code on the blockchain. I also found that Solidity’s modifiers work a lot like middleware in other programming contexts, which was an interesting connection for me. Blockchain’s potential is huge, but it also got me thinking about how careful we need to be with our code. Have you found anything surprising or challenging while working with Solidity or blockchain tech in general? #Blockchain #Web3 #Solidity #LearningJourney #DecentralizedApps #SmartContracts

🟢💰Bulk Payments are now possible on the Core Blockchain! Introducing Pigeon, an open-source software for signing and transmitting transactions. 🔖A couple of notes before you start using Pigeon: 🟰Please make sure to test the software with the dry-run function before properly using it, as all transactions are irreversible. 🟰To successfully complete transactions, you need to have Gocore’s RPC API enabled. 🟰After each transaction has been completed, the software will issue a transaction report to the user. Start using Pigeon and improve the newest open-source addition to the Core Blockchain. Pigeon is available on Windows, Linux, and MacOS. Try it out today.✅ $XCB $CTN ➡️ https://lnkd.in/etSFdU-X

Tonight, Opentensor Foundation launched our new BTCLI, which has completely consumed my life over the past six or seven weeks. We’ve made massive improvements as it relates to #substrate blockchain interactions, including an asyncio rewrite of Py-Substrate-Interface, and a SCALE decoder written in Rust. I think it’s pretty neat https://lnkd.in/dnsWCagP #bittensor

Progress may be slow, but I’m committed to my learning journey—one late night at a time. Proud to share that #ChainSync now has the following features deployed: 1) Manufacturers can register their products on the Ethereum blockchain. 2) Customers can purchase these products, paying the defined price plus the current Ethereum gas fees. While it might seem like a small step, for someone like me, who’s more used to traditional programming, this has been a quantum leap. No DBMS, no ODBC—just navigating the world of gas fees and decentralized systems. I'm still exploring if there’s a way for the smart contract owner to generate revenue from this project. There’s a big difference between those who just talk about tech and those who spend their spare time studying and turning it into reality. Be wary of those who only talk. Feel free to clone the project from my GitHub repo and improve the world around you. If you want to discuss about future developments, you know where you can find me. https://lnkd.in/d6nT6nYF Current requirements for running the code are: Linux Debian 12, truffle, ganache, node.js and MetaMask. In the next few weeks I will deploy the smart contract to testnet/ropsten #BlockchainDevelopment #Ethereum #SmartContracts #DeFi #LearningJourney #DevelopersMindset #Web3 #DecentralizedApps #GasFees #SideProject #Innovation #KaizenMindset #TechTransformation

Week 2- Day 1. My Web3 Journey at Blockfuse Labs so far...😎 So on Monday we have a session at the Hub in Jos when we host The Graph Africa when i was able to create my first ever Subgraph and on Tuesday we continue with the class where we dive deep into the world of Ethereum, learning how to use wallets, how to create transactions, and also how to run a basic smart contract. Ethereum's currency unit is called Ether(ETH) and it is subdivided into smaller units and the smallest unit possible is wei. One ether is 1 quintillion wei (1 * 1018 or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000). Ether’s various denominations have both a scientific name using the International System of Units (SI) And the common name are Wei, Babbage, Lovelace, shannon, Szabo, Finney, Ether and Grand. And learn about the Ethereum wallet, and i understand that wallet can be mean many thing, the term "WALLET" to mean a software application that helps you manage your Ethereum account. In short, an Ethereum wallet is your gateway to the Ethereum system. It holds your keys and can create and broadcast transactions on your behalf. To choose ann Ethereum Walet can be difficult atimes but this are some good starter wallets MetaMask is a browser extension wallet that runs in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Brave Browser). and it is a web based wallet and you can also download the mobile version too. Jaxx is a multiplatform and multicurrency wallet that runs on a variety of operating systems, including Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux. MyEtherWallet (MEW) is a web-based wallet that runs in any browser. It has multiple sophisticated features and also a web based wallet. Emerald Wallet is designed to work with the Ethereum Classic blockchain, but is compatible with other Ethereum-based blockchains. It’s an open source desktop application and works under Windows, macOS, and Linux. i have been studying and learning and i will be sharting my experience here, do well to follow and connect with me #web2 #frontend #blockchain #Ethereum #web3 #Blockfuse #documentation
