Congrats to Negar Rezvany from the Transport and Mobility Laboratory on receiving the Best Paper Award at the 12th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART) with the paper “Household-level choice-set generation and parameter estimation in activity-based models” . Tim Hillel and Michel Bierlaire This paper marks a milestone in the development of advanced activity-based models at the household level. These models account for the various constraints households face when organizing activities and corresponding trips for all members. They are crucial for designing and assessing policies aimed at modifying mobility patterns, with the objective of decarbonization.
