This initiative seeks to build upon Connecticut's successful energy efficiency programs, providing more opportunities for households to reduce their electricity bills and contribute to a sustainable, reliable electric grid. ⚡Energy Efficiency 🔷Reduces Costs: Energy efficiency helps lower electricity bills for consumers. Lowers Grid Demand: Efficient energy use reduces the strain on our electric grid. 🔷Promotes Sustainability: It decreases reliance on fossil fuels and supports environmental goals. 🔷Avoids Infrastructure Expansion: Efficient usage mitigates the need for new power plants and transmission lines. 📄 Your Input Matters DEEP is seeking feedback from public stakeholders to improve and refine the Draft RFP.
