🚀 LATEST FUNDING/M&A IN CYBERSECURITY 🚀   Corr, I'm seeing an emerging theme in the DSPM space- I'd say this is a hot area and if I were on the job market, I’d be thinking about some of the below key players as an interesting next move…   Cyera: An Israel-founded, U.S.-based cybersecurity unicorn that uses artificial intelligence to build Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) has taken another milestone step in their rapid rate evolution and have announced they are acquiring Trail Security (acquired by Cyera). Trail Security is a startup that was still in stealth mode building solutions for data loss prevention — essentially technology complementary to posture management to help secure data in the event of a breach. The acquisition is for $162m and will help Cyera bulk up its offerings to meet demands from customers to handle the longer process that comes after posture management engagement.   Netskope: A global SASE leader, that helps organizations apply zero trust principles and AI/ML innovations to protect data and defend against cyber threats has announced the acquisition of Dasera. Dasera, founded in 2019, created a product focused on finding and assessing data in structured and semi-structured data sets stored in hyperscaler platforms. The integration will help the company deliver advanced security across web, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, email, endpoint, and on-premises use cases—now including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data stores and data lakes.   inforcer: A London based leader offering a Microsoftmulti-tenant management solution, announced it has raised a $19M (£14.6M) Series A financing round led by Meritech Capital. inforcer leverages the advanced security technologies already included in Microsoft 365 to help MSPs secure end-user environments and comply with evolving cybersecurity regulations.   LOUHE.ai: A Finnish start up that gathers essential data sources from campuses and buildings and creates intelligent situational awareness utilizing machine learning and Explainable AI, raised more than €3 million in funding in its latest funding round.
