Maximus Resources Limited (ASX:MXR, OTC:MXRRF) managing director Tim Wither joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the positive results from Phase 2 drilling at #WattleGoldDam, near Kambalda, Western Australia. The drilling confirmed elevated #gold, with samples showing up to 1-metre at 8.05 g/t of gold. The site is positioned along the Spargoville shear zone, where a potential structural offset of the high-grade Wattle Dam Gold Mine has been identified. The discovery of biotite-amphibole alterations within the rock indicates promising #goldprospectivity, as biotite has historically been a marker for high-grade mineralisation at Wattle Dam. Wither noted that the Phase 2 results build confidence in the geological model and enhance future exploration prospects. Yandal Resources Ltd managing director Chris Oorschot joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the reverse circulation (RC) drilling it has restarted at the recently identified #SionaProspect, part of the #IronstoneWellBarwidgeeGoldProject in Western Australia. This new twelve-hole, 2,500-metre program seeks to explore the geometry and scope of #gold mineralisation following significant results from previous drill holes. Earlier findings reported by the company include 78 metres at 1.2 g/t gold from 96 metres downhole and 14 metres at 1.8 g/t gold from 63 metres. Current drilling targets up and down dip positions relative to these promising intersections, as mineralisation remains open at multiple angles. The campaign, set to conclude within two weeks, may be extended if early results are positive. Belararox Limited (ASX: BRX) has announced that it has executed a Letter of Intent with Conosur Drilling SA to undertake a drilling programme comprising up to 6,000m of diamond drilling at its Toro-Malambo-Toro (TMT) project in Argentina. Conosur will provide at least two diesel-powered drilling rigs and will accept 5% of the invoiced amount in BRX shares. Civil works are currently underway with a total of 52km of roadworks to be completed to reopen the main access road to the main Toro camp. Service providers are engaged in readiness to provide operational support and exploration teams are scheduled to continue field mapping and sampling remaining targets upon the re-opening of the Toro camp. Kootenay Silver Inc. has ramped up its exploration activities at the Columba Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, deploying a second drill rig to extend the known limits of the 'D-Vein' and test the southeastern extensions of the 'B-Vein' and 'B2-Vein.' CEO Jim McDonald highlighted that the second drill will work southeastward along the B-Vein trend towards a priority target zone where surface mapping indicates intersections between the 'D-Vein' and 'B-Vein' trends. The current drilling program aims to delineate the strike extent of D-Vein mineralization, paving the way for a fully funded 20,000-meter follow-up program and a maiden resource estimate expected by late 2024. Initially, the second drill will support this goal before moving on to test extensions of other known vein intercepts and promising undrilled targets. Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland is back in the Proactive studio to recap drilling activities and the explorer’s latest quarterly report. Cooper has just completed its third drilling campaign of the year, targeting copper-gold mineralisation across four regional targets at its Mt Isa East project in northwest Queensland. The prospects in question — Raven, Mafic Sweats North, Mafic Sweats South and Yarraman — were together the focus of 12 reverse circulation holes and around 1,800 metres of drilling. Following the campaign, more than 500 one-metre samples were dispatched for analysis to a laboratory in Mt Isa, primarily from the prominent Mafic Sweats South prospect. While a busy exploration season has hampered lab turnaround times, Warland is excited to bring fresh results to the market in the current quarter.
