🐄Dairy farms are traditionally passed down from generation to generation, meaning farm families have been a part of the local community for many years. 🐄While our farm is currently being operated by the 1st and 2nd generations of the family farm, we plan on supporting our community, land, and animals so that they can thrive and be the future for many generations to come. 💗Farmers help support their local communities by volunteering at local organizations/schools, educating the public on where their food comes from, and spending money at local businesses which can have a multiplier effect of 2.5x the original dollar spent! 🥛Not to mention, local farms mean local dairy for you and your family to enjoy, and what could be better than that?!? #dairyfarm #dairyfarmer #farmcommunity #community #local #dairygood #undeniablydairy #family #farmfamily #realdairy

DRILL. #GlobalBigDay is only one week away. ⁠ ⁠ If you haven’t joined one of our national (individual islands) or multinational (multiple countries) teams on Givebutter, NOW is the time 👉🏽 https://lnkd.in/eMcYZXeQ ⁠ The BC team has been preparing for the big day with bicep curl to overhead presses with binoculars in one hand and our Birds of the West Indies field guide in the other. “No Burn, No Birds!”, right? ⁠ Of course, there’s a less physically demanding way for you to maximize the number of birds and number of species 🦜🦉 you can see—by joining one of the birding teams on Givebutter (link above). While participating in GBD is as easy as rolling out of bed and strolling towards your yard to join the fun, we know some of you might be itching to see more birds than your backyard regulars! ⁠ ⁠ Team leaders have already done the work to set up eBird trip reports so that the checklists you submit 📲 will go directly towards your country’s total (and team leaders if you haven’t, this is your reminder! Drop us a line if you need support!). You can accompany team members who are planning to bird at specific locations, or others who are planning to hit up the most spots during the 24 hours.
