HAPPY 4TH OF JULY PEOPLE.... On this day we celebrate. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness...we celebrate our Freedoms on Independence Day!! Today, I am somewhere in Alaska. Checking out the beauty of this country in a State I've never visited before. I can move around without fear or worry and freely. Enjoying all the things this country brings us as citizens. Freedom folks... I also celebrate a different kind of Freedom. Financial and freedom of time. I left my corporate job over 2 years ago. I have no income that is dependent on a company paying me! Or at least not one that I don't have direct impact and control over. My time, my path and my life is now completely my own! I am free to make what I want, enjoy whatever time I choose and have experiences with my family on a regular basis! It's an amazing thing really. Being able to work when I want, live where I want and travel wherever I want while providing my family with experiences that will create a lifetime of memories. Folks...let's celebrate Freedom today. Whatever that means to you. Whatever you want that to be for you. It's out there...go get it and enjoy!! Happy 4th of July!! #harvestpropertiesgroup #realestateinvesting #passiveincome #viveequity #cashflow #wealth #financialfreedom #vivepropertymanagement #makinmoves #barbaricyawp

It’s never easy to leave one’s home country in search of something better, but both our fathers and now we, do it because we have to. The stories of immigration and ancestral journeys hold incredible value in understanding where we come from. These narratives highlight the sacrifices, struggles, and hopes of those who traveled across borders for a better life. Sharing these journeys with younger generations helps build pride in our heritage and culture. It fosters a deeper connection to the challenges faced by those who came before us. As we continue this journey ourselves, it’s important to document these stories so we don’t lose track of our family history. These stories teach valuable lessons about resilience and adaptation, reminding us that our family’s past is a vital part of who we are today. So, why not start today? Every little effort helps to keep our family’s journey alive. Let’s make sure these stories are never lost but passed on, reminding future generations of the strength and courage that brought us to where we are now.

Some interesting facts about St. Patrick’s Day: St. Patrick’s Origin: Despite being the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick was actually born in Britain. He was captured into slavery and taken to Ireland, where he later returned as a Christian missionary. No Snakes in Ireland: The story of St. Patrick driving snakes out of Ireland is a myth. In reality, Ireland has never had any native snake species to begin with. Leprechauns and Fairies: The leprechaun, often associated with St. Patrick’s Day, is derived from Celtic folklore. These ‘small-bodied fellows’ were believed to be fairies and were known for their shoemaking skills. “The Luck of the Irish” is a phrase that originally emerged in America during the gold and silver rush eras, when Irish miners were often successful in their endeavors. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not an old Irish saying but an American one, and it was initially used in a somewhat derogatory way to attribute the Irish miners’ successes to luck rather than their hard work. Over time, the phrase has taken on a more positive connotation, celebrating the Irish for their perceived good fortune and resilience, especially in the face of adversity. Today, it’s commonly used to express good luck and is often associated with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Can any of my actuarial or mathematician geeky type friends validate that: “Tens of Millions” is correct - Calling Bullshit (Again) Citing my mates at Google “tens of millions” is a phrase used to mention something huge in number. It could be any number above 10 million & below 100 million Currently 26+ Million in Oz In 2021, there were 315,705 babies born to 311,360 mothers in Australia. Let’s say work on 200k per year for the last 100 years and we get tens of millions of babies not boat people As of 2023, Australia's net overseas migration was 152.2 thousand people. In the 50s Agreements were reached with Britain, some European countries and with the International Refugee Organisation to encourage migrants, including displaced persons from war-torn Europe. By 1950, almost 200,000 people had arrived We would have to have this same number each and every year to get 2 million per decade ( and we didn’t ) them every decade for 7 decades gets us to 14 million - I guess if that were true ( but its just sensational maths ) Few of Craig’s teams own stats below Happy to be corrected as I was really bad at Maths ( Year 10 was the best five years of my life !) https://lnkd.in/gt3ryznT

Signing ‘The Foster Family’ on the Welcome Wall at the National Maritime Museum, which celebrates the tens of millions of Australians who arrived in Australia, mostly by boat. My family came in the early 1800’s. By boat. And yet we attack, demonise and exclude others who do so. People have a right to seek safety and we need to acknowledge our responsibility to show the world how they should be welcomed.
