What is data science at large-scale synchrotron facilities? At its core, data science at synchrotron facilities involves applying advanced techniques and tools to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. However, it also encompasses the development and implementation of new techniques and detectors to optimize data collection and analysis. I recently had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of Rigaku Single Crystal Diffraction Crysalis software to integrate the first of the kind X-Spectrum GmbH Lambda GaAs 9M detector (55 µm pixel size). While time consuming, the effort was rewarding. If your research involves studying single-crystal materials under high-pressure and requires high-resolution peak positions, consider utilizing our facility. Real-time multiplex fluorescence microscopy Using Tracepro Software Spectroscopic image data has provided molecular discrimination for numerous fields including: remote sensing, food safety and biomedical imaging. Ray tracing simulations (TracePro) were used to determine optimal optical component selection and geometry. Spectral imaging feasibility was evaluated using a series of 6-label fluorescent slides.
