Watch your language. Are you using words and language your audience understands? When writing copy, it's easy to get carried away with wanting to be clever and creative to stand out. But if you use words your audience isn't familiar with, you end up disengaging them from your message. They won't feel seen, heard and understood to connect with what you're saying. Don't sacrifice clarity for the sake of creativity. Meet your audience where they are and use words that are in their vocabulary. Where do you find those words? Check out their websites, social media pages, email enquiries, discovery call transcripts, DMs, etc. There are so many places and spaces you can go to borrow words the people you're serving are already using.
