The WeGive Effect! If you're going to you're going to The Bridge to Integrated Marketing & Fundraising Conference at the end of the month we should certainly talk! #Bridge24 #fundraising, #nonprofit, #engagement, #retention
We just ran our quarterly platform-wide calculations to get updated performance metrics on all our customers, but there was one new requested metric: 📈 Growth rate in recurring giving for ministries (organizations with a statement of faith or churches) after upgrading to WeGive from another giving platform. TLDR: It is 148.08%. 🤯 Notably, this metric is: 1. Weighted based on the amount of recurring giving for each client. 2. Free from growth outliers where a ministry launched a recurring giving program for the first time (we filtered this data out, or else it was 9395.36%) 3. Significant. If you are (a) responsible for stewardship, (b) at a minsitry, and (c) growing 148% or less in recurring giving in the last 12 months, then you need to get a demo of WeGive. #NonprofitLeaders #SustainerGiving #RecurringGiving

Reconnecting Kids with the Roots of Life: A Call to Action In a world rapidly advancing with technology, the nostalgic scent of soil and the joy of growing up on a farm are becoming distant memories. Today, many children are blissfully unaware of the journey their food takes from seed to plate. Let's take a moment to express gratitude for those of us who had the privilege of tending to a garden or growing up around farms. It's about more than just playing in the dirt; it's the magic of planting a seed and witnessing it blossom into the nourishing fruits and vegetables we enjoy. Imagine a world where more schools embrace the beauty of farm visits, providing a firsthand experience for those who haven't had the chance to witness the wonders of agriculture. Witnessing the awe and creativity sparked in children's minds when they see the transformation of plants into sustenance is truly remarkable. If I had the opportunity of one wish in life, it would be to invest in large farms and create a learning center—a haven for schools, colleges, detention centers, troubled teens, special needs children, Boy and Girls clubs, and any place eager to delve into a way of life often left unexplored. The goal: to share, teach, and work with kids and teenagers, offering them a taste of a life they might never have known. Our agricultural and produce industry often forgets the blessings we live each day. This message isn't just a reflection; it's a call to action. Imagine the impact we could make if we shared the joy and excitement we feel every day. Today, I share these thoughts in the hope of igniting a spark in your hearts to effect change in the lives of future generations. If you wish to contribute or be a part of this transformative journey, your support would be greatly appreciated, and I would be honored to help. Together, let's cultivate a future where every child understands the magic that lies in the soil beneath their feet. #FarmToFuture #CultivatingChange #NourishingGenerations #calltoaction #kids #love #investing4tomorrow #donationswelcome #investinginsights

Bittersweet to read about parents having to cut back to fund school trips. While we know just how transformative trip-based learning can be—making learning fun, bringing topics to life, fostering teamwork and building confidence—we deeply empathise with families facing these tough choices. At Ufton Court, we believe every child deserves the freedom to flourish outside the classroom, no matter their circumstances. That’s why, through our charity, we subsidise history and outdoor learning trips to Ufton Court by 50% for schools in areas of deprivation. We’re here to ensure that no child misses out on the incredible benefits of experiential learning: sparking curiosity, boosting self-esteem, and creating memories that last a lifetime. As well as improving learning in the classroom, benefitting behaviour, attendance and confidence. We hope to make school trips more accessible and impactful for all. All these reactions can come up when facing such intense, unpredictable problems and violence with a perceived lack of tested solutions or necessary effort to try them – and are a part of why we have not managed to course-correct quickly and effectively enough. So how can we find and hold hope together? Over the coming days we share some of the places we are finding hope and we invite you to share yours. We’ll focus on: Examples from history Our societal capacities to meet the challenge The agency of all of us to role to play a critical role (which we know how to unlock) Full Plymouth Octopus(POP) narrative: https://buff.ly/4dQZbD1 POP learning and thinking: https://buff.ly/4fZAcPG Dark Matter Labs @Annette https://buff.ly/3YSF4Ac Sky Space Team Development Cic @Jen https://buff.ly/3yMsPK #BEMOREPLYMOUTH #fairer #greener #futurism #regenerativefutures #learning #sharednarrative #plymouth #systemconvening #community #grassroots #funding #grantmaking
