𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲… 📌 Round 1: → I was asked questions on core CS topics and there were medium-level DSA problems. → This round majorly tested my problem-solving skills and ability to communicate my approach. 📌 Round 2: → I was tasked with encoding and decoding a binary tree. I converted the tree into a string with a time complexity of O(n) but while reconstructing, my solution had a time complexity of O(n^2). → Even though I proposed a solution and it was fundamentally correct, it wasn’t optimized. This was when I realized the importance of optimizing a problem using multiple approaches. You may or may not have seen a post I made last week about the 𝙚𝙭𝙝𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 😓 interview process and the remarkable numbers in our pipeline for a 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 opening at Syndio. 📊 I also got quite a bit of hate 🙅♀️ regarding the careful steps (5 stages) we take to vet our candidates. 🤷🏽♀️ 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴.
