Today on Uncovered Cryptoscam(140k USD accumulated so far)! while trying to educate myself on Randomisers, I came across this video https://lnkd.in/gen9uQFm about a master BOT, that could make you 112% your deposit in 24 hours by front running arbitrage transactions on popular dexs. As the curious dev, I decided to look into the source code, maybe I could learn a thing or two. see the source code here: https://lnkd.in/gPuDTaDe. On close examination, I learnt a lot of crazy tricks 🤣, like how to write a contract with a lot of interfaces and code that do nothing and comment them properly. I am not joking this guy knows how to comment his code. In summary, the contract simply transfers all the funds deposited to a cleverly hidden address ``` 0x66d96d553c3b800581abba29c27c5ebc1c190f17 ``` This scam is still on, the last victim lost 1.38eth 6 hours ago you can keep track of the victims on-chain at https://lnkd.in/gTcP6unj let me know below if you want a deep dive into the contract and the trick used Aram Mughalyan, Corrales Cachola, Adil Ashfaq, Owen Healy, Douglas Kuhn, Dominic Allen, Kashif Khalid, Soumen Datta, Anton Golub, Ral Andrew Stay safe!!

As the bull market ascends, there's also a rise in fraudulent activities. (One common scam is) the idea of a smart contract crypto bot that can bring unbelievably high returns. Please I advise non-technical people or newbies to smart contract development to be careful about copying and pasting code from YouTube channels or Reddit accounts. They should endeavor first to understand how the code works and then implement it from scratch themselves. Seasoned developers in the web3 space would likely not fall for simple tricks like this. However, some projects could hide malicious code in library files, which might go undetected. You always have to pay close attention to how the code runs. It's quite sad to see so many optimistic people about this technology fall prey to these nefarious activities. Please stay safe. Joshua Osaigbovo #web3 #solidity #crypto

We're thrilled to announce our partnership with ID Crypt Global and Apex Digital Exchange (ADEX) to address two critical challenges in #DeFi: user trust and identity verification. The partnership integrates cheqd’s decentralised identity infrastructure with ID Crypt Global’s KYC, AML, and compliance solutions, enabling ADEX users to securely verify identities while maintaining control over their data. As the crypto industry continues to evolve and gain mainstream traction, ensuring the trustworthiness of digital #identities and securing user #data are paramount. Through this partnership, ADEX will benefit from market-leading decentralised identity and verification capabilities, empowering users to engage in DeFi with greater confidence and security. The collaboration will also open the door for more traditional financial institutions to explore and integrate with decentralised finance platforms, enhancing the legitimacy and scalability of the sector. "Our partnership with ID Crypt Global and ADEX brings our privacy-preserving payments, decentralised identifiers (DIDs), and advanced Trust Registry capabilities to the DeFi space, allowing users to engage with confidence in a secure, compliant environment. By leveraging cheqd’s infrastructure, ADEX can create a trusted, fraud-resistant platform, reducing friction for users and encouraging broader adoption. This collaboration is a significant step toward making decentralised finance more robust as traditional financial players begin to explore this innovative space." said Fraser Edwards, Co-founder and CEO at cheqd.
