I want to enter cybersecurity because the recent surge in cyber attacks, such as ransomware incidents affecting hospitals and municipalities, has made me acutely aware of the real-world consequences of digital threats. These attacks can cripple essential services and endanger lives, which is deeply concerning. I’m passionate about making a difference by helping to protect vital systems and data. The idea of using my skills to prevent these types of breaches and to help organizations recover from them inspires me. I want to be part of a proactive team that not only defends against threats but also educates others on best practices, fostering a culture of security. It’s a field where I can contribute meaningfully to society, and that’s what drives my ambition.
