Drinking Water Warning Issued Nationwide... lifeline critical infrastructure is under attack but of the ~50k water/waste system providers, they "often lack the resources and technical capacity to adopt rigorous cybersecurity practices". This is exactly why we built, and open source OpenZiti; rather than ~50k water/waste system providers needing to increase their cyber budgets and bolt-on solutions, the PLC/SCADA/OT equipment providers should embed zero trust networking directly into their products so that they cannot be attacked from the network.
