Day three at the #INCOSEIS Conference was just as exciting and inspiring as the previous days! Here's a quick recap of the highlights and key takeaways: Starting the day: Mark Kelly's keynote from AI Ireland & AI Awards Founder on "AI in Action: Applications Transforming the World and Their Unintended Consequences" was fascinating. I learned about Zero Shot learning, AI Agents, Stop T-Shirts, and Devin. Olivier Dessoude's presentation: "Gulliver’s Journey into TechOps" was very engaging and gave a great preview of what to expect at IW25 in Sevilla. Barclay R. Brown, Ph.D., ESEP: Kept us in the AI theme with his electronic pop song "Living in a Generative World" during his presentation "Survey of LLM Applications for SE". Adriana D'Souza: Brought insightful revelations on "Traceability - A Vision for Now and Tomorrow". David Long: Continued with another exciting talk "Making the Digital Thread Work - Digital Data Packages". His reminder that "Engineering doesn’t require all data at all times!" was particularly thought-provoking. Ed Serzo (SSI): Concluded with a compelling discussion on "Optimizing Systems Engineering Workflows through Novel Application of LLM". Conference Dinner: The day ended with a great conference dinner featuring excellent food and superior local music, creating the perfect atmosphere for networking and relaxation. 📲 📣 This week, our team has been in the world's largest event for the connectivity ecosystem: the MWC Barcelona! A great opportunity to firsthand experience how the latest (and forthcoming) #technological trends are shaping our world, economy, society, and of course, our #cities. As it couldn't be otherwise, #AI is one of the central themes of the 18th edition of this leading congress held in #Barcelona. From its applications in industry to its legal and ethical implications, it is the overarching element that focuses all conversations. In addition to visiting the wonderful stands of Mobile World Capital Barcelona or Generalitat de Catalunya and the startups section 4YFN, our president, Pilar Conesa, had the pleasure of attending the keynote by Brad Smith, Microsoft’s Vice Chair and President, who delivered a clear message around this year's star topic: 🎙 «What’s happening with AI is similar to what happened with the printing press invention. It was a revolution: not only a new invention but a whole #NewEconomy.» Curious for more?
