A new control center is being developed at the European Space Center in French Guiana. When I think about the work we did back in 93-96 to bring Jupiter 2 control room on line in time for Ariane 5 I understand why I am now among the retired... The work that CNES, TPZ, GTD and others are doing paves the way for future launches at the CSG. An essential investment if Europe wants to retain it's independent access to space.
