(For most Direct Medical Practices(SMBs in general) The hard part once you get past the asking for referrals/building a system around Word of Mouth is not converting them, it is vetting them. - Add Friction: I always recommend when building a Word of Mouth system to build a little friction, build it to Vet a potential lead (this can be an initial form or a lighter weight consult conducted via text message (frees both your time and theirs). You want all the questions answered and expectations set early. - Be Transparent: No need to Salesy it too much always be direct and provide Price(How Much), Product(What it is), Process(how it works/get started) at the door. A simple automation can eliminate hours in wasted time of follow up questions/ dead end leads. - Anticipate/Stadardize: Building on the previous point, Anticipate questions. This may shock some people but when people are reaching out to your practice/business there is only a finite # of questions they can ask, 87+% of the time they are: How Much? (Price) Do you accept_____? (Price/Process) Is this for me? (Product) Does it work? (Product) How often do I do ______? (Process) How Do I get started? (Process) Knowing this you can build your Template/Process around this. It's not just about getting more leads, but what do you do with the leads you get.
