🌞Are you using largeformat PV modules?🌞 There are several factors to consider when choosing these modules! While the frame height of the modules has been reduced by around 40%, this also means that their load-bearing capacity has been greatly reduced⬇️. The large surface area also results in higher loads from snow ❄️and wind 🌪️ on the module. This in turn requires stronger and more sophisticated racking solutions and a supplier who can accurately calculate the loads on the project💡. Voc and Isc are two fundamental specifications of solar panels, and they are used in the design of solar systems and to estimate solar power output: Voc:: *Stands for open-circuit voltage, which is the maximum voltage a solar panel can produce when its terminals are not connected to a load. It is measured in volts (V). *Voc is used while determining the number of solar panels required for a particular load. Isc:: *Stands for short-circuit current, which is the maximum current a solar panel can produce when its output connectors are shorted together. It is measured in amperes (A). *Isc is required for calculating the maximum current in the string.
