CyRIC | Cyprus Research & Innovation Center Ltd’s Post

As we progress toward the final stages of the GRACED the project coordinated by CyRIC | Cyprus Research & Innovation Center Ltd, we are pleased to share key takeaways from our recent webinar, "Photonics-Based Sensing for Safer Food." Alessandro Guisti representing CyRIC, led the session, discussing the need for faster, more efficient food quality controls and introducing GRACED’s achievements. Several additional consortium partners presented GRACED’s sensor technology, devices, and overall functionality. Invited talks from representatives of the h-ALO and PHOTONFOOD projects shed some light on adaptable systems for multi-analyte monitoring and cutting-edge mid-infrared photonic solutions for rapid, farm-to-fork food safety testing. Supported by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, the GRACED project is setting new standards in food safety through advanced photonics.
