This week RCPCH launched the final in a series of reports, this time for Northern Ireland: “Worried and Waiting: A review of paediatric waiting times in Northern Ireland”.  The report details the upward trajectory of outpatient waiting times for paediatrics in Northern Ireland that has continued year on year since 2016, reaching an all-time high in 2023.  The report makes policy recommendations which would ensure children receive care in a timely manner, and within the right service by calling for:  ✔ A whole child approach to service configuration  ✔ A bespoke child health workforce strategy  ✔  Enhanced collection and utilisation of child health data Read our recommendations in full: https://lnkd.in/eiREx2Wr
