Meet Nicole Voelker, BSN, RN, a dedicated charge nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, who has seen firsthand the challenges associated with sepsis detection in Emergency Departments and the life-saving potential of early sepsis diagnosis.   Talking about her experience, Nicole says, “We receive patients in our Emergency Department with little to no information. Sometimes we have 40 patients in the waiting room and deciding who gets the one available room can be tough. There's always the fear of overlooking a critically ill patient or making the wrong choice”.   According to Nicole, IntelliSep has empowered the ED teams to quickly detect patients with occult sepsis and helped improve their disposition decision-making process. It has also saved valuable nursing time, which can be reallocated to the bedside.   Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/g6YUTYdM   #HealthcareExcellence #SepsisDetection #NursingEfficiency
