For 20 years UP Projects have been engaging broad public audiences in the process of creating public art projects. This means creating opportunities for communities to work collaboratively with artists to actively shape public artworks in their neighbourhoods and beyond. Here we share our best practice considerations for collaborating with communities and working in a way that centres on taking the time and care required to build trust, ensuring transparency, and being clear on where power and influence can be shared in co-creation projects. 🔗 Read our full resource on collaborating with communities at: bit.ly/UP-resources Design: Jack Newbury

we are starting to rapidly loose level 2 courses and also some level 3 courses too in my opinion you can't make everything into a T level subject and not just that not everyone will get the grades to do the T-level subject and not just that itcis going yo drive students away that are neurodiverse from going to college due to the T level subjects, you can't make photography a t level nor can you make fine art nor can you make art & design a t level either and there are plenty more feel free to add them into the comments section of the 📫 post. I feel like as a creative the government is trying to push people to become lawyers, doctors and there are a few other jobs too, I do respect that there needs to be more doctors too I appreciate that but my problem is that the government especially the education system are wanting more people to be more academic when really a lot of our brain struggle with traditional academic subjects like maths for example that is not the most easy subject at all belive I have taken it three times and can I get my head around it the answer is unfortunately not at all because my brain struggles with numbers, and it is the same with English for to at times, but creativeness is at the heart of humanity amd not just that so is Dyslexic thinking too. if you see the post and you work in the creative industry please repost please share also please copy the text and share it on your linked in profiles too also if your local MP is on linked in please tag them in the post because we need to get the word out there in the wide open. thankyou #repost #share #tag #copy #makeityourown #LinkedIn
Time we go into the second half of 2024 and going into 2025 standing up for the creative industry

I am posting each track individually from my collaborative album with David Mackenzie - MonoMyth Music Volume 1 - so that I can highlight and present some of the techniques used in each piece. Hit the link below and have a listen. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Track 1 - Seven rotations Live recording - The tide coming in along Cornwall's coastline Isochronic Tones - Isochronic tones are a fast and effective audio-based way to stimulate your brain. Among many of the benefits, they can help improve focus, relaxation, energy levels, sleep and more, without taking drugs or needing any special equipment. Hidden subliminal messages - positive messaging that slips past your mental radar and embeds deep into your subconscious mind Dominant frequency - The Schumann Resonance (7.83hz) - The extremely low frequency portion of the Earth's electromagnetic field spectrum It has been shown through scientific experiments that attunement with the planet's own natural frequency of 7.83Hz allows people to experience benefits such as enhanced learning/memory, cellular rejuvenation, energetic balance, reduced stress, grounding, and deep relaxation. Enjoy X https://lnkd.in/eNkKWsbt

So, after about 15 years of saying Cannes Lions was pointless I went to Cannes Lions last week. It was fun! And at the Festival of Creativity I gave a talk about how "Creativity was not Enough". It went down quite badly. But not as badly as I had hoped. So I am going to try again virtually instead. If you were too junior/senior/knowledgable/rich/broke/ignorant/strategic/creative to go to Cannes then I am bringing this talk to you, live, on Thursday. For the full Cannes effect you need to get incredibly pissed on Wednesday night, turn your central heating up to 30 on Thursday morning, then run madly up and down your stairs for 10 minutes before the talk starts. Afterwards, bemuse your kids by drinking two litres of Rose in front of them while bemoaning my POV and ordering lobster from an imaginary waiter who appears to be standing on the patio ignoring you. In the talk I look at the role that creativity plays in effectiveness, and the roles that it does not. I talk about why the Guinness Surfers ad is big old pile of indulgent wank. Why Liquid Death is a perfect product for marketers who don't get it. I will share with you the power of Tipsy the Wonderdog, and we will look at where marketers should be focused. Clue: not making their ads any more creative. Sign up for thrills, spills and hopefully a spiky Q&A after the talk. And if you live in some godforsaken part of the world like New York City or Sydney you can watch the talk later on demand but you still have to sign up first. We have 4,000 already registered and our platform starts getting wobbly beyond 10,000 so we will cap it. Not bluffing. Or am I?
🚨UPCOMING WEBINAR🚨 If you didn't make it to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this year, then you would've missed Mark's epic talk on how 'Creativity is not enough'. But not to worry, you're in luck. Consider this your invitation to his very own personal Croisette and extended version of his talk, as your favourite professor and columnist talks about the power of creativity and then takes an enormous crap all over it - in true Mark style, of course. 😉 Register now! https://ow.ly/X8ZE50Slt6A

Great session with Mark Ritson with an irreverent call to action to marketers to focus on overall Marketing Effectiveness instead of just creative. I'll add that this doesn't need to be so difficult. Automating marketing budget planning on an analytics platform shared between the CMO and CFO can give the transparency, flexibility and predictive scenario capabilities you need to maximize ROI. #sapanalyticscloud
