Last week, the moonbeam co. had the privilege of attending and showcasing our innovative solutions at CleanEnviro Summit Singapore, alongside with the DBS Foundation x National Environment Agency Hungry for Change 2022 Winners, namely: D2L.sg, Mottainai Food Tech and tHEMEat Company. It was fantastic to interact, connect, and engage with industry stakeholders and potential future collaborators. We were honoured to present our #spentgrain #cookies to Mr Yam Keng Baey, Senior Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, Singapore and Ministry of Transport, Singapore, as well as Mr Chun Pin Ng, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NEA. Discussing how #FoodTech, specifically #valorisation, can play a big impact on the food industry and its broader implications for #sustainability and #climate was truly inspiring. A highlight was our co-founder Qi Herng Kong's engaging segment during the Sustainability and Clean Environment Convention, titled Closing the Loop: Innovations for Better Resource #Circularity. Together with Dr Jian Yong Chua, they shared insights on the future of sustainable food technologies and their role in combating climate change. Another highlight was our co-founder Varden Toh receiving the most Interactive Booth during the Youth Environment Leaders Immersion Programme! This recognition underscores our commitment to creating engaging and impactful experiences for our audience to learn more about the importance of #foodwaste minimisation. A big thanks to the organizers and everyone (Wen Hwee Liew, Jayne Tong & Kang Li Loh) who participated in making this such a fun and collaborative event!
