Did you know it’s possible to have a round top-style window in a rectangular wall opening, including a fully operational sash, just like a double hung window? It’s all possible with a “Variation 6,” what the pros at Marvin call a rectangular window with a radius blind stop and brick mold. Or more simply: a window with a rectangular wood frame, but a radius exterior in a round top opening. Most often used as historic replacements, these windows are a standard option in the Marvin Ultimate product line. And that’s right, they have all the same operations, options, and benefits of a double hung window. So next time there’s a need for a round top that’s … a hybrid round top, there’s the Variation 6. When talking about round top windows, we'd be remiss to not mention Frank Marvin, who passed away on March 2. This former president of Marvin was well known for his customer-first mindset, dedication to people, and perhaps most notably here, for initiating production of Marvin’s first round top windows, which would usher in the mass production of radius windows in the industry.

FS4.6 BR metal ceiling✨ The hingeable and sliding FS4.6 BR ceiling system is especially suitable for corridors. The hinged technology is particularly robust thanks to the bolt-latch mounting. As a result of the additional sliding function, this system is particularly suitable for inspections. In addition, this system can be designed as a chilled ceiling with cooling pipes. To fold down a ceiling panel, insert a painter's spatula into the joint on the long side and slide both locking bolts to the center of the panel. This allows the panel to be lowered downwards and then moved along the edge hook profiles. The ceiling panel can now be moved in the longitudinal direction of the corridor.
