Recently, DAGER had the privilege of attending the Mississippi-Tennessee Tactical Officers Association (MTTOA) conference in Southaven, MS. The event ran in conjunction with the North American Sniper Conference/ Competition (NASC) and the MTTOA SWAT Competition. Over 350 tactical officers from the two states attended the conference across three days of vendor presentations and classroom breakout sessions. DAGER had the incredible opportunity to lead one of these breakout sessions and brief the attendants on explosive awareness in tactical operations with findings from an integration experiment conducted last year by some of those in attendance. We at DAGER were honored to be a part of this event and the opportunity to showcase the importance of the work we do to support tactical first responders. #MTTOA #NASC #SWAT

Looking forward to doing another online Tac Talk for the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), this time entitled "Resolving Burning Barricades: When the Structure Catches Fire." Here's a brief description and please stay tuned for further details (including the date and time) ... Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams are deservedly known for not only being highly trained and specially equipped but also adaptable and resourceful during extremely dynamic situations. However, when a structure fire occurs during a critical incident, it adds a layer of complexity most SWAT teams are ill-prepared for, consequently leading to operational delays that make mission success that much more difficult to achieve. To counter such circumstances, this presentation will describe what extraordinary resources fire service personnel, apparatus, and equipment can be within tactical environments and how they can be safely and efficiently utilized to mitigate a variety of unconventional challenges.
