I'm not interested in hiring people that are motivated 🚫 To be honest, motivation is crap. Why? Because it comes and goes too easily. People that are 'motivated' only do what it takes when they feel like it. That doesn't equal high performance or long-term success. Fact 🤷♂️ When I'm hiring, I look for discipline. Why? How we placed $2.7M worth of talent in 12 months (32% were remote hires wearing pajamas). After placing 0 candidates our first 3 months... We started Sherpa Recruitment Jan 23 We did the job board thing → We did the 3hrs LinkedIn networking thing → We did the cold calling thing, but we placed 0 candidates. Since then, we built a 3-step recruitment process, that's taken us to 7 figures in placements a year. Without using traditional recruitment methods (That you can steal and use for free). Here's the 3-step breakdown Our Outbound (45% of our candidates) We start 50 new conversations a day. With anyone who views our job posts engages with our content. Options in for our talent community. We send hyper personalized and relevant messages; "𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘕𝘈𝘔𝘌 - 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 {𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥}. {𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘦}. {𝘛𝘪𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨}. For us it's about LT career partnerships. Not short-term placements Once we've asked the questions, we propose a video chat (90% of candidates accept). Our Inbound (55% of our candidates) We use a single 3 step funnel on our profile. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭 - A landing page with headline + sub headline with 7-minute video and 1 CTA. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮 - When you click the "Interested? Chat With Sherpa" it goes to a form to enter details. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯 - Then finally it goes to the Calendar link which only allows booking 5 days out Our Video Chat Placement Process. We run a 2-step placement process. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭 - We run a 30 min Career Triage video chat, the agenda being to ask questions, to see if they might be a good fit. If they are we book another chat (Making sure it's in 1-3 days' time). Which builds trust with them, saves both our time. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮 - We run a 45 min Career Alignment video chat. We spend 30 min on career aspirations making sure it's the right fit. And if we both think it is We say, "Ready to take the next step in your career?" Process sound interesting. If so...
