After a long day—whether you’ve been handling clients, communicating with managers, or tackling endless paperwork—take a moment. As you sit on the train or close your eyes for a second, let yourself say: 'You did well today, and you deserve to rest. Thank you for getting through today.' This habit has transformed my friends’ lives, making them feel visibly happier. They've shared how much they appreciate this moment of self-gratitude. Why not give it a try? Dear colleagues and friends, Today, as I celebrate my 35th birthday, it's a wonderful opportunity for reflection and assessment. I've experienced numerous moments of success, challenges, and significant discoveries throughout this time. Allow me to share with you 10 key insights that have guided me in my professional and personal growth:  1️⃣ Embrace Challenges as Opportunities: Every challenge holds within it an opportunity for growth and development.  2️⃣ Remain Open to Learning: Continuous learning is the key to expanding horizons and honing skills.  3️⃣ Maintain a Work-Life Balance: A healthy life is the foundation of success.  4️⃣ Build Strong Relationships: Relationships with people are the key to mutual support and collaboration.  5️⃣ Don't Fear Taking Risks: Sometimes, taking big risks leads to great success.  6️⃣ Communicate with Your Team: Open communication fosters effective work and creates a conducive atmosphere within the team.  7️⃣ Be Ready for Change: Flexibility is the key to adaptation in a rapidly changing world.  8️⃣ Focus on Quality: Quality should always take precedence over quantity.  9️⃣ Never Stop Dreaming: Dreams are what propel us forward.  🔟 Don't Forget Gratitude: Remember those who have helped you achieve success and always express gratitude. Today marks a milestone for me– my 55th birthday. And today as I'm thinking about it, I'm embracing where life has brought me. The storms I've weathered have shaped me, and I look forward to the future with optimism. Through the years, I've learned invaluable lessons: 1. Resilience is key. To celebrate 5️⃣ years in SaaS, here are 5️⃣ things I'm grateful for: 1️⃣ CHANCES: There are too many people to thank for taking a chance on me - I wouldn't have found my footing without doors others have opened. 2️⃣ LAUGHS: I've witnessed many leaders not only slap on a smile in tough times, but figure out how to make others laugh. Game changer. 3️⃣ MISTAKES: Honestly, I'm still figuring out how to be grateful for these thorns in my side, but if roses can rock a thorn so can I. 🌹 4️⃣ CHANGE: It's challenging to embrace change - the unexpected is, well, just that - unexpected. This year has been a journey of growth, transformation, and unexpected connections—both personally and professionally. After leaving Texas and relocating to Flagstaff, AZ, we couldn’t have predicted where the year would take us. But sometimes, the universe has a way of surprising you. It was on a rainy day at the Waste Management Tournament, when Adam reconnected with our college friend Brandon Graves, that the spark for my entry into the healthcare world was ignited. What began as a casual catch-up between old friends quickly turned into something much bigger. I found myself drawn into an industry that I never saw coming. Working with Brandon has been an absolute joy-our circle of friends from college has grown into a powerhouse of collaboration, and it’s been amazing to be a part of it. Through Brandon, I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with Tommy, whose passion for innovation and connecting people is truly contagious. His leadership is driving the next evolution of the healthcare industry, and I’m proud to be part of that journey. My journey in healthcare has taken me into a variety of roles, exposing me to a whole new world of opportunities. Then there are Melissa and Lillian—two powerhouse women whose dedication and drive never cease to inspire me. They are the heartbeat of everything we do, making sure that operations run smoothly while constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. And, what a team of Stephanie and Kelly rocking sales!! As 2024 comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on how much has changed. It feels like the chapter of my real estate career in Texas has come to a close, and in many ways, I’ve come full circle—back to my roots in Marketing and PR, where it all started. I’ve never been more excited about the future. We’ve got so many exciting projects on the horizon, and I’m eager to dive into the next phase of disrupting healthcare and shaping what comes next. However, it’s ridiculosuly funny how we can sometimes find ourselves in a loop of automated responses on LinkedIn. We also know people that hide their pathetic attitude behind a curtain of an explicitly sold gratitude. I have news for you: ▶️ Ambition and gratitude are not mutually exclusive. ↪️ They can be combined. 😀 You can remain committed to your ambitions and work for them and at the same time feel grateful for everything you have in your life.
