After some time, the RS485 repeater DM-485TO485A returns to the AMiTs portfolio. It is based on the time-tested concept of the repeater design but in a new coat. It is again repeater with automatic data transfer switching at speeds from 2.4 kbps to 115.2 kbps powered by 24 V DC and the two interfaces are galvanically isolated from each other. Thanks to the push-pull quick-locking mechanism and the push-lock conductor connection, assembly and installation are effortless and reliable. Push-Pull enables secure, tool-free plugging even in confined spaces and with high cabling density. This saves up to 80 % installation time compared to screw connections. Individual cable lengths can be realised with customisable M12 connectors. And here, too, there is no need for screwing, as the push-lock technology makes conductor connection convenient and easy. Rigid and pre-treated conductors can be inserted directly into the terminal chamber. To connect finely stranded wires or conductors with a larger cross-section and to disconnect conductors that have already been connected, the clamping point is opened using the lever.
