In the world of ABA, the ongoing challenge of high turnover among RBTs can significantly disrupt service quality and client progress. Does a way to fix this problem even exist? In my opinion, effective supervision stands as a cornerstone in addressing this challenge. This includes ensuring that RBTs are applying ABA principles correctly and addressing job satisfaction and engagement. When RBTs feel supported, valued, and competent in their roles, they are more likely to remain in their positions, leading to increased stability within ABA teams and, ultimately, better outcomes for clients. Therefore, investing in the quality of supervision MIGHT be the management secret to reducing turnover and enhancing the effectiveness of ABA services. If you don’t support your RBT, prepare to say bye. #aba #appliedbehavioranalysis #rbt #registeredbehaviortechnician #bcba #boardcertifiedbehavioranalyst #behavioranalyst

Have you used the Australian Skills Classification (ASC) before? I've been involved with the research for the ongoing development of the ASC, and the team have asked me to share this survey link. The ASC has been really useful in the development and conceptual work around the Clusters, and it will be great to see what comes out of this work - hopefully we'll see the development of a National Skills Taxonomy. If you've used the ASC in your work, please take a few minutes to complete the survey 🙏 https://lnkd.in/gJJYnvak

What does the CNT measure? The Complexity Navigation Test (CNT) is designed to evaluate how individuals approach problem-solving. It assesses a person's learning style and their ability to handle challenges. This dynamic measure provides valuable insight into whether someone excels in uncertainty or prefers clear guidelines—key factors in determining their potential for various roles within an organization. #CNT #ProblemSolving #LearningStyles #WorkPotential #Assessments #BeExceptional Alexis Retief,Karen Harmse,Clifford Modiselle,Darren Graham,Shanta Ranchod,Anisha Patel,Sally Satchel,Jennifer Morris,Mark Bayley,Delicia Dreyer

What if you could ditch the "supervision headaches" and do the work that made you love ABA? 🤯🤔👀 In most ABA models, BCBAs design the plans, supervise RBTs, and analyze progress from a distance. But with 1-tier ABA, you’re not just supervising—you’re the one directly implementing those plans. Here’s what that means: 📈 No more endless back-and-forth trying to explain data trends to someone else. You’re the one collecting it. 💡 Real-time adjustments based on what you see in sessions—not days or weeks later. 🏡Stronger relationships with families and clients because you’re the one working with them day in, day out. As someone who started as an RBT, I’ll always appreciate the value they bring. But in 1-tier ABA, we simplify the process while keeping the quality of care high—and, honestly, it brings back the joy of doing what we trained for. 💡 Fellow BCBAs, what do you think? Would you want to trade supervising for hands-on client work? Let me know in the comments. #BCBA #ABA #1TierABA #BehaviorAnalysis #InnovativeABA
