It’s Time to Flip the Script on Hotel F&B—Are You Brave Enough? Why… Why is “good enough” still the standard for hotel restaurants and lounges? Why are we settling for uninspired menus, forgettable atmospheres, and concepts that blend into the background? Here’s the truth… Playing it safe is the fastest way to become irrelevant. The world doesn’t need another all-day dining spot catering solely to in-house guests or a lobby bar that’s a carbon copy of the competition. Your F&B outlets should demand attention—from locals, travelers, and trendsetters alike. This isn’t just a challenge—it’s a wake-up call. Over the next 8 days, I’m diving into the bold moves your F&B teams can take to break free from the pack. I’m not talking about surface-level tweaks or half-hearted updates. I’m talking about redefining what’s possible and creating venues that are more than just places to eat—they’re destinations. The question is: Are you ready to stop thinking like hoteliers and start thinking like restaurateurs? Let’s shatter the mold and transform hotel F&B into something extraordinary. Stay tuned—and join the conversation. #HospitalityRevolution #HotelFandB #ThinkLikeARestaurateur #FandBLeadership #InnovativeDining #CommunityEngagement #FandBMarketing #BoldMovesInHospitality

In my years working in the hotel industry, I’ve seen a common misconception: people often think that a career in a five-star hotel is somehow superior to working in restaurants or other areas of the food industry. But the reality is, no matter how high you rise, there’s always someone or something bigger. Success isn’t defined by where you work, but by the dedication and passion you bring to your craft. Every part of the hospitality industry is vital, whether it’s a grand hotel or a small local restaurant – they all serve with purpose and pride. #hospitality #hotel #restaurant

"Slow down to speed up." Really appreciate that reminder. Sometimes you can push too hard in too many directions. Calling a time out to rest, access, and regroup is important. Why are we doing this? What is essential to our success? What can we let go of? What should we say no to? This book was a solid read. I highly recommend. Thanks Will (Will Guidara) for "evaluating your experience" (learned that from John C. Maxwell) and taking the time to share it with us!
Slow down to speed up. We’ve been busy, but for the first quarter of this year, we read Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara and set aside time to meet as a team to talk about what we learned from the journey of one of the best restaurants in the world that will help us serve our customers better. Any recommendations for our next team read? #teambuilding #brandingagency #customerexperience #unreasonablehospitality #bookclub

So true on so many levels.

❌🆘 Hotel F&B is BROKEN… 🆘❌ There, I said it. Too many outlets are playing it safe—generic menus, uninspired spaces, and zero connection to the local community. And here’s the kicker: guests notice. In a world where indie restaurants are serving up creativity and community on a silver platter, hotel F&B can’t afford to stay stuck in the past. It’s time to stop being the “just okay” option and start becoming the must-visit destination. How? By flipping the script and thinking like a restaurateur. 🔥 Restaurateurs don’t play it safe—they innovate. 🔥 They don’t wait for traffic—they attract it. 🔥 They don’t just serve food—they create experiences. What if your hotel restaurant had: ✅ A menu that felt like a culinary adventure instead of “business as usual”? ✅ A vibe that made locals feel like they belonged? ✅ A marketing plan that treated your F&B like a standalone, buzzworthy destination? The truth is, hotel F&B needs to break free from the “amenity mindset” and embrace bold, outside-the-box thinking. Because here’s the reality: You’re not just competing with other hotels—you’re competing with every indie restaurant, café, and bar in town. So, the question is: Are you ready to stop being invisible and start making waves? Let’s disrupt the norm together.
