📌 DOES THE SIZE OF THE ARTWORK INFLUENCE THE FINAL PRICE? Absolutely. However, there is often a misconception that the larger the size, the higher the value of the work. But one has to distinguish the type of buyer: - If it is a museum institution, large size might not be a problem. -if it is a private collector, it is essential to take into account the space available to exhibit the work. The balance between the size of the artwork and the needs of the buyer is essential to ensure a choice that is both aesthetically and functionally satisfying. Thanks for this. I usually make pretty small things, and struggle to get valued in a world that seems to prize 'big'. Hm, sounds a bit victimy. I guess the issue is, how do I value myself?
Size does matter , recently we exhibited few artists in micro miniature too -- and both extremes were well received.

8moSmall works because of the intimacy. Large works are said to draw you in, but I see them as loud, cold, and distancing.
