“I wish things were different and I had a business in flow” This was a comment that came up this week. It highlighted where a lot of business owners are right now, and it is a mindset that’s bringing on frustration and “I don’t know how to change things”. We unpacked this space, first educating them on what their financial information (P&L, Cashflow etc) meant, how it is made up and how to influence it… without having to do more work. Boom this education time lit a fire in their belly and their mindset shifted to “what action will let me squeeze more profitability out of my business”. This was the same feeling across all business owners… what a buzz seeing them get excited about adding profitability to their space.
