𝐈𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤? Not at all! Computational biology is revolutionizing research, but it's not replacing the essential role of hands-on laboratory experiments. Together, they form a dynamic synergy. Models and simulations drive predictions, while experiments breathe life into those predictions, validating and advancing scientific discoveries. Let's embrace both for innovative breakthroughs in science! #ComputationalBiology #LabResearch #Innovation #ScienceAndTech #Biotech

🤔 Ever wondered if a tiny drop of dried blood🩸 could tell us more than we imagine? In our latest research, we discovered that blood has its own molecular signature! By combining mass spectrometry with machine learning, we uncovered distinct lipid patterns in dried blood spots. The fascinating part? Our computational analysis identified 60 specific lipid signals that tell a unique story. Even more intriguing - these patterns remained detectable in three-day-old samples on everyday surfaces like glass and granite! Thank you to our amazing 200 participants at IISER Tirupati who helped us unlock these molecular mysteries! 🙏 Curious about the science behind it?
