big shout out to Audrey Chen for hosting such a Unique Hackathon!
🚀 Hackathon Spotlight: Brainrot Hackathon Achievement! 🧠💡 We successfully developed and deployed a live voice agent using Twilio and Retell AI to facilitate AI-driven phone calling. Alongside this, we launched a fully functional web app featuring a chatbot, Clerk authentication, and some exciting meme-worthy features. 🎉 Point to be noted: For those wanting to try the call feature, do keep it under 2 mins as the trial has a time period of 56 mins. In addition, it would work if the user has international calling facility. 💡 What We Learned - Leveraging Shadcn with Next.js for streamlined UI/UX. - Implementing a server that enables seamless conversations between users and AI. 🔮 What’s Next? - Exploring Retell AI’s capabilities like transcripts and audio storage. - Evaluating the use of OpenAI’s real-time API for future enhancements. 🎯 The Inspiration The project drew inspiration from recent Andrew Tate controversies, aiming to explore meaningful applications of conversational AI. Tech Stack: Next.js + Shadcn + Go Working with Danish Tiwari and Andrew B. was an amazing and fun experience for this one given how we went all weird thinking of all the features we could put into this. Would totally work with them again! Shoutout to Audrey Chen for hosting a hackathon like this which we never thought would be something we might work on one day. We’re excited about how far this tech can go! If you’ve got ideas, suggestions, or just want to geek out with us about AI and real-time interactions, let’s connect!
