I rarely post on LinkedIn, but our company just hit a major milestone! Yesterday we launched the first Linera Testnet, a critical step on the path to launching a blockchain mainnet and token. The launch of the Testnet signifies the successful onboarding of external validators (nodes), ensuring that the network is functional and decentralized. Linera is a new layer-1 blockchain with a novel architecture that uses "microchains" to ensure the lowest-latency and highest security possible. We envision a decentralized future that operates at speeds we've come to expect from cloud-based infrastructure and the web2 Internet. That's why we call Linera "The Real-Time Blockchain." My personal focus is building the ecosystem around Linera. This means building partnerships with developers and teams who are building applications on top of the protocol and fostering a community of retail investors to support its growth.
