CONSCIOUS JOURNEY // OUR PRODUCT The most sustainable fabric choice is the one that already exists. Achieving a circular economy is one of the key challenges for the near future, and both the EU and Dutch government have outlined ambitious targets to reach this goal. To increase the availability of recycled fabrics on the market, textile recycling must be drastically expanded. Through our participation in ‘Stichting UPV Textiel’ (Foundation for Extended Producer Responsibility), Dante6 is committed to improving textile reuse and recycling. The recycled polyamide used in our Party Cocktail styles Noemia, Fantina, and Aisela exemplifies our dedication to contributing to a more circular economy, without compromising our vision for aesthetics or quality. Recycled polyamide is typically made from fabric waste or industrial fishing nets. What feels better than wearing the change you want to see in the world? #DANTE6 #circularity

Mike Jones, Mainetti’s Head of Innovation, was recently featured in edie where he highlighted the importance of the circular economy in the packaging sector and the obstacles to achieving it. One challenge is that products made from various materials are hard for consumers to recycle. To overcome this, the industry should prioritize mono-material packaging. This is something Century Box Mainetti is already addressing, with the release of The Loop last year – a single-material luxury box made from 100% recycled material. Through Mainetti’s Full Circle Initiative, we have been able to address some of these challenges. In 2021, we launched Polyloop, the first global initiative allowing retailers to source clear LDPE film with 30-100% recycled material, maintaining a closed loop supply chain. With initiatives like these, we hope to guide the world toward a greener future and keep our planet safe from plastic pollution. *Shifting the paradigm from linear to circular textiles* We are pleased to announce one of our greatest sustainability initiatives by introducing our recycled fiber to the market under the name 2-New Fiber. The "2" symbolizes rebirth and a new life, while "New Fiber" perfectly depicts the idea of another fiber. 2-New Fiber represents the emergence of a fresh era in fiber innovation. With its distinctive green "R," it embodies the circular nature of textile production. This initiative is carried out by Premium Textile Mills as part of our in-house recycling program, which allows us to repurpose textile waste generated during our manufacturing processes and from outsourced sources. Through this program, we transform post-industrial, post-consumer, and pre-consumer waste into high-quality recycled fiber, aptly named 2-New Fiber. #FiberRebirth
