Wishing You God’s Peace This post is a little different from my usual focus on organizational insights, but as the year unfolds, I felt compelled to share something personal and universal: the wish for God’s peace in your life. This peace is not just the absence of challenges but a profound sense of harmony and wholeness that transcends circumstances. Picture this: A serene lake at sunrise – The stillness of the water reflects the heavens, a reminder that even in quiet moments, there is profound beauty. Golden rays breaking through the clouds – Gentle light illuminating everything it touches, offering hope and a reminder that brighter days are always within reach. Connected hearts and hands – A vision of unity, where diverse voices come together in mutual respect and understanding. A quiet sanctuary – A space of safety and stillness, where the rustle of leaves and soft melodies of nature invite us to be fully present. May these images remind you that peace is attainable and a gift waiting to be embraced. Whether in your personal life or professional journey, I hope that you find moments of stillness and grace that guide you forward.

This powerful reminder from Robin Wall Kimmerer speaks to the resilience and generosity of our earth, even in times of crisis. In moments where it feels like the weight of environmental issues or personal challenges could eclipse everything else, there’s wisdom in pausing to notice the small, sacred gifts that nature bestows upon us. 🌼 The delicate petals of a flower, the soothing rush of a breeze, the glow of a sunrise — these moments are the earth’s quiet whispers that joy is always within reach, even when the world feels wounded. Choosing joy doesn’t mean ignoring the hardships. It means acknowledging them while still honoring the beauty that surrounds us and remembering our responsibility to give back. It’s about recognizing that the earth, in its wounded state, still supports and nourishes us. How can we not offer gratitude and find our own way to return the favor? So, today and every day, choose to seek out moments of wonder. Choose to honor the gifts around you and turn them into seeds of hope. Let’s be mindful of this — let’s nourish the earth as she nourishes us. 🌱 What are the small wonders you notice around you today? How do you choose joy in the face of pain and suffering? Did you know that Thomas Aquinas believed we can never achieve complete or final happiness in this life? According to him, true happiness lies in beatitude—a supernatural union with God. Since this end is beyond what our natural human capacities can attain, Aquinas taught that we not only need virtues but also God’s transformative grace to perfect or “deify” our nature, enabling us to participate in divine beatitude. We live in a world where it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of material possessions, wealth, and status. We often measure success by our bank accounts, job titles, and social media followers. But God has called us to something far greater – a life of eternal purpose. This purpose goes beyond our temporary success, or achievements. God hasn’t just given us a job or a career; He has given us a divine vocation. This sacred calling aligns with His heavenly plans, and it’s tailor-made for each of us. Our vocation is not just about personal fulfillment or success; it’s about participating in God’s redemptive work in the world. With this divine vocation comes a greater calling – to live a life of holiness and righteousness. This isn’t just a moral code or a set of rules; it’s a transformative journey of becoming like Christ. It’s an integral part of our divine vocation, a necessary expression of our love for God and our commitment to His purposes. So, how do we shift our focus from materialism to eternal purpose? It starts with recognizing that our true identity and worth come from God, not from our earthly possessions or achievements. We must prioritize our relationship with Him, seeking His guidance and living with purpose and intentionality. God has called us to a life that matters, a life that makes a difference, a life that leaves a lasting impact. Let’s continually live with this consciousness. Happy New Week!
