Observing the nucleoli of nile tilapia using the silver nitrate staining method. It can be seen that there are 2 nucleoli observed in each cell, so it can be interpreted that the cell has 2 sets of chromosomes (diploid). Nucleolus observations are usually useful to validate the ploidy level in an organism. Have you ever tried this method? or use another method? #poliploidi #niletilapia #nucleolus
