Strategic & Technical Leader / Consultant; Operations Officer, KPI Eng - No matter the Scope, KPI has YOU Covered!
Right smack in the middle of Engineer's Week!!! Please go out and hug an Engineer - by the way, I am one 😁 Seriously - it is time to recognize such a vital role for our nation and the world. I sometimes present on engineering opportunities to schools. The title of the presentation is "engineering everything". By the time we are done postulating some basic challenges and talking through them, we cover every type of engineering and more. If you know a young person who loves math, science and the arts, make sure to mention engineering to them as a possibility. Engineering offers a rewarding experience from developing great problem solving and critical thinking skills while in school to solving significant challenges at work to leading and developing others, selling / marketing, and many other possibilities for a rewarding career. Blessed to be leading a very talented group of engineers and design professionals at KPI Engineering, Inc. and serving our local and national communities with a wide range of projects - Community Centers, Schools, Entertainment, Hospitality, Housing, Workplaces, etc. I found this interesting piece about the week and engineering in general from a few years back, enjoy! - #engineering #design #plumbing #mechanical #electrical #MEP #schools #retail #commercialrealestate #industrial #distribution #warehouse #coldstorage #selfstorage #architecture #architects #community #restaurants #sportscomplex #sparksandrecreation #parks

Students got an opportunity to consider their choice of majors at last week's Explore Engineering fair. Faculty, staff, and current engineering students from each department were on hand to describe their departments’ programs of study, design courses, independent work, and post-graduation paths, as a first step toward making an informed choice of major in April. And each department offered a wide variety of swag for students to take away as they pondered their decisions. Which department do you think had the best giveaways? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
