I was finally able to finish my 24 hour hackathon project at HackNC 2024 today! It took a lot of effort and learning, but I think I created something that is a good milestone for my future endeavors. A few months ago I was in the same boat as you are... You know you want to create a community. You find an awesome program that could take you to the next level, but then you realize you might've missed the orientation session. You think about bailing and maybe trying again later. I get it...I was there. But then it hit me: building an online community isn't just something I want to do; it's something I need to do. Creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued isn't just good for business—it's amazing for creativity, positive emotions, and social change. These are the core values of my community members who are ready to give TEDx talks, launch podcasts, and create digital courses.
