Xiaomi 14 fogging lens issue update : As of today, that is 05/08/2024, Monday, I've submitted the faulty Xiaomi 14 phone as requested by the Xiaomi India Team. I showed the Xiaomi India Service Center (Shree Ganesh Services, Thane) team my concern. The executives re-checked it by starting the camera app & noticed the same fogging issue. They have collected the evidence & I have been asked to submit my phone so that a request for a replacement/refund can be processed. I have submitted my phone along with the original box, manuals, charger, USB cable and SIM card ejector pin tool. Next, I'm supposed to wait for a response from Xiaomi India. I hereby request them to send me a solid, clear response stating whether I'll be getting a REFUND or a REPLACEMENT from their end. I am very clear that I'd neither be accepting any more vague answers from Xiaomi India & Xiaomi Technology on this case, nor accepting a repaired phone. I need either a replacement or a refund as I've mentioned above. This exact thing has been communicated well with the Xiaomi India service centre employees as well. Thanks for the oh-so-thoughtful gift, Pushkar Chauhan ! I was all set to create more content from the Xiaomi India Mi 14, but little did I know that its camera lens had other plans. Who knew that becoming pen pals with Xiaomi India /Mi support would be my new hobby? Oh, the joy of crafting complaint letters instead of content creation. It's a truly revolutionary experience – forget picture-perfect moments, we've got support tickets to file! Here's to hoping that our cries for prompt resolutions are heard over the sound of malfunctioning lenses. Cheers to the Xiaomi India /Mi brand for keeping us on our toes in the most unexpected ways. Next stop: a crash course in customer service appreciation or maybe just a functioning device. "The saga continues!". Perhaps they should add "Mastering the Art of Patience" as a hidden feature in their user manual.
