🚀 Transforming data into actionable insights – one project at a time. As part of completing the Google Business Intelligence Professional Certificate, I delivered a final project that brought together technical expertise and strategic planning. Using BigQuery and Tableau, I transformed complex datasets into a clear, decision-ready story. 🎯 What I accomplished: • Data Consolidation: Merged datasets into a single optimized Target Table using a custom Dataflow pipeline in BigQuery for seamless analysis. • Stakeholder Engagement: Documented stakeholder goals in a Stakeholder Requirements Document, ensuring the project aligned with their needs. • Strategic Planning: Developed a Project Requirements Document and a Strategy Document, outlining technical approaches, key metrics, and visualization strategies. • Dashboard Design: Built a dynamic Tableau dashboard to visualize insights effectively. • Executive Summary: Created a concise summary to make findings accessible to decision-makers. 📊 Explore the project: • Project Breakdown on Kaggle: https://lnkd.in/dD3jsNMP • Interactive Tableau Dashboard: https://lnkd.in/duj638uB 🎥 Watch the short video below to see the dashboard in action! 💡 This project was a rewarding experience demonstrating the value of combining technical skills with strategic planning to deliver impactful insights. #BI #Tableau #DataVisualization #DataAnalyst #DataViz #DashboardDesign #DataFam #BusinessIntelligence

I’m excited to share my recent Tableau assignment, where I explored advanced data visualization techniques and built interactive dashboards. This assignment provided hands-on experience with various key concepts, including: 1️⃣ Table Creation & Quick Calculations: Designed a table showcasing category-wise and region-wise sales and profit, with grand totals and pane percentages, sorted in descending order. 2️⃣ Data Combining & Filtering: Used the Netflix Titles dataset to merge tables and identify the actor/actress with the highest number of appearances in Sports Movies. 3️⃣ LODs & Histograms: Created a histogram to analyze customer order frequency and understand order distribution. 4️⃣ Sets & Pie Charts: Visualized sales distribution with a pie chart, separating the top 50 customers from others. 5️⃣ Custom KPI Card & Table Calculations: Developed a KPI card with dynamic indicators for profit growth, including trendlines for monthly performance. 6️⃣ Parameters & Groups: Designed dynamic bar charts based on parameter selections (Region, Category, or Sub-category) and grouped products to analyze average discount percentages. 7️⃣ Interactive Dashboard: Built a fully interactive dashboard with features like: Dynamic metrics (e.g., Sales, Profit, # Orders) with adjustable titles and tooltips. Filters for year and region, with a toggle to show/hide them. Top 5 products displayed dynamically based on the selected metric. Category-based filtering to update related charts and KPI cards. Clickable company logo redirecting to Tableau Public. This assignment not only enhanced my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of how to make data analysis intuitive and actionable.
