Is it the End or another Beginning? It's Up to you I am voluntarily stepping down from my current position. Before anyone asked, I was never on the bench nor was I asked to leave. My decision is based on only one thing—I don't do things halfheartedly. I need colocation and direct interactions with my end customers to live up to my reputation of delivering better than expected. I am not cut out for offshore unless I am managing a delivery team. If anyone hires me now, then they will get: 1. Someone well-known for his out-of-the-box thinking and subsequent execution of those ideas 2. A thorough ethical approach in every aspect of work 3. Someone who has always managed through respect than with the weight of his position 4. Someone who values his commitment as sacrosanct and has been able to motivate the team to deliver on that 5. Over 30 years of Industry experience including process plants and the Electricity Industry (both IT and OT) 6. Someone who has worked extensively in client-facing roles in the UK, USA, Australia 7. Inquisitive mind and an always ready to learn attitude I have never done the same thing twice and have no record of failure. I mostly worked in areas that were new to the organizations I served and brought success (either as a sole contributor or as a team or as a manager, depending on the role) to my end customers and indirectly to my organizations. I've been thinking about our offshore talent agency, LTG Assist, and the challenge of rejecting hundreds of applicants for each job opening. Honestly, it kind of sucks. Sometimes I forget that I have a team of 50 accounting professionals. (can you believe?) Because our processes are so well-managed and streamlined, it feels like the work runs itself. But trust me, it didn’t happen overnight, and I failed multiple times to achieve it. It took time, trial, and fine-tuning to build the right systems. We focused on the small details — created efficient workflows, trained our team to be proactive, and leveraged the right tools to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. We prioritise communication, consistency, and tried to stay ahead of deadlines. For me handling a team is all about balance — combining people, processes, and technology to create an environment where everyone knows their role, and clients see the results. With the right systems in place, everything feels smooth, no matter how large the team or complex the project. That’s when you know you’ve got it right.
